Two-week volunteering program with the destitute children in orphanage
Along with poverty, lack of education and parents’ ignorance has intensified the number of street children who are taking shelter in orphanages. The Government of Nepal has failed and is failing to protect the children’s fundamental rights and privileges. In such context, orphanages have been caring and educating such underprovided children. Asia Horizon is cooperating with children welfare centers and orphanages in Chitwan and Katmandu to rescue these children from a life of poverty and degradation.
