    Volunteering in Philippines

Philippines is an archipelagic nation located in Southeast Asia, with Manila as its capital city. It is situated on the western edge of the Pacific Ocean bordering Indonesia, Malaysia, Palau and China. It is the only Southeast Asian country sharing no land borders with its neighbors. Philippines is home to over 100 ethnic groups and hundreds of dialects. The culture of Philippines is a blend of indigenous Filipino, Hispanic, American, Chinese, Islamic and Indian cultures. In 1946, it finally attained independence. Philippines offers unique taste of culture, vivid picture of Filipino life and exotic sights of beaches and countryside for visitors.

Asia Horizon in Philippines cooperates with local NGOs, schools and orphanages to give them support. It offers you the opportunity to experience life in a beautiful, culturally and geographically rich country along with making a difference in lives of those Filipinos who do not have the access to education, health care and basic needs. Our objective is to assist and develop local Filipino communities through education, assimilation, research and volunteering.
