Project Overview

This unique and educational one-week program by Asia Horizon in Sri Lanka offers volunteers the opportunity to understand Sri Lankan local language, culture, religion, and customs before beginning their placement. During the week, volunteers will be immersed in the charm of local village life through working on a farm, cooking local foods, joining village cultural programs, and hiking in the countryside.
