Sample Program Itinerary
Our two- week mini-venture program in Thailand is divided into three phases:
Phase I: One-day orientation
Phase II: Ten days volunteering program in Childcare Center
Phase III: Three days Thailand Exploration
Day 1: Welcome at Asia Horizon Thailand office, general orientation and informative presentation about Thailand, Thai culture, customs and others issues, including volunteer project, work responsibilities, health and safety issues.
Day 2-11: During this period, you will work in Childcare center and contribute in the development and growth of the children. Working in Childcare center gives you a wonderful opportunity to share your love, skills and energy with poor children. Your stay with host family is one of the greatest opportunities to observe the culture and traditions of Thailand very closely. During your free time, you can tour around with your new friends exploring the surrounding areas and local markets.
Volunteer’s Activities
You will teach the children to speak, write, walk and run. You can help these children with activities related to day-care, physical development and various activities i.e. arts, crafts, etc. Furthermore, you will assist children by telling stories, playing games and teaching conversation English.
Project Skills Required
There are no specific requirements working with children. However, you must be at least 18 years old and should have knowledge of spoken English for volunteering. In addition, you should have genuine interest, love and passion for serving poor kids.
3 days Exploration Tour of Thailand
Day 12: Visit to Ayutthaya, ancient capital of Thailand. Ayutthaya is one of Thailand's major tourist attractions.
Day 13: Trip to Bangkok. Visit Wat Pho and Khao San road, Grand Palace temple of Emerald Buddha, etc.
Day 14: Trip to Kanchaburi, one of the most beautiful provinces of Thailand (128 kilometers from Bangkok approximately 2-3 hour’s car drive). Visit Bridge of River Kwai, War Museum and Erawan Waterfall.
Program Fee: US $1199 for 2 weeks (including 3 days of travel)

Cancellation Policy
• Cancellation after acceptance and prior to placement confirmation – the deposit is forfeited
• Cancellation after confirmation of placement – 50% of the program fee is forfeited
• No Show or Early Departure from Program – If you notify Asia Horizon of a requested cancellation of a Project on or after the start of the Project Period, no refund whatsoever will be made to you under any conditions or for any reasons100% of the program fee is forfeited.
